I wrote a book! Learning React Native: Building Native Mobile Apps with JavaScript, published with O’Reilly Media, is a hands-on introduction to React Native.

Get a practical introduction to React Native, the JavaScript framework for writing and deploying fully featured mobile apps that look and feel native. With this hands-on guide, you’ll learn how to build applications that target iOS, Android, and other mobile platforms instead of browsers. You’ll also discover how to access platform features such as the camera, user location, and local storage.

Both print and eBook editions are available:

The book clocks in at 272 pages, and takes you from the very basics up through deploying your mobile applications to the iOS App Store and the Google Play Store. You can view the code examples on Github.

Writing it took the better part of a year, and I’m very proud of the end result. I hope you find it useful; I’ll be listening for feedback on Twitter as @brindelle.
