I want to try journaling a bit more about what I’ve actually done with my time. Here’s some stuff I did last week:

  • Learned a bit about EAGLE from NYC Resistor member Max Henstell. Max teaches an awesome class! I unfortunately was only able to attend half of it, but it seems really cool. I haven’t been doing electronics projects recently because, well, reasons (mostly to do with soldering + hand pain). I would like to start again.

  • Learned to knit continental (both knit & purl)! I made a practice hat. It looks really derpy. On the bright side - I knit a hat in four days! After spending a full month on my last project, it was really fun to do a quick knit.

  • Started working on my German again. Memorized declensions for the definite and indefinite articles in nominative and accusative. I’m basically starting from 0, because my passive understanding is OK but I have no grasp on how to construct grammatically valid sentences.

Case masc. fem. neuter plural
nom der die das die
acc den die das die
  • Started learning how to edit videos using Screenflow. I’ve got a tutorial series coming! Three guesses what it’s about.

I’ve also been thinking a lot about what it means to be sick. When I’m dealing with pain and brainfogginess, it’s sometimes hard to remember that yes, cool things happened! I learned stuff!
